Intro to Queer Studies

Credit:  3 hours.


Interdisciplinary introduction to the field of queer studies. Traces the history of sexuality and sexual identities, reviews key concepts and debates guiding queer studies, and evaluates how they facilitate understandings of the social and cultural dimensions of sexuality. Same as SOC 320. Prerequisite: GWS 250 or GWS 260 or GWS 350, or consent of instructor.
