(C & I 468) Critically examines children's books that have received major national and international awards and prizes and the requirements for that distinction; gives particular attention to the most recent publications so honored and their implications for use in the classroom. Prerequisite: CI 467 or 567, or LIS 404; and ENGL 106, or equivalent; or consent of instructor.
