ECON 452 The Latin American Economies
Credit: 2 to 4 hours.
(ECON 352) Focuses on the economic history of the region, the recent industrialization process and its impact, the role of the state and foreign capital, the impact of the recent privatization processes, inflation and stabilization policies, and issues surrounding the distribution of income. Same as ACE 452. 3 undergraduate hours. 2 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: ECON 102 or 103. ECON 302 or 303 strongly recommended.
