(ARTHI 339) Critical survey of the major developments in European painting of the eighteenth century. Emphasis is placed on French artists, but major figures in England, Spain, and Italy are also considered. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing or consent of instructor.
