Theoretical framework for college foreign language curricula; review of research articles and discussion on learner factors and teaching of listening comprehension, speaking, reading, writing, cultural understanding, and literary appreciation. Same as EIL 563, GER 563, ITAL 563, PORT 563, RUSS 563, and SPAN 563.
