Beginner's course on the physics of nuclear weapons, nuclear weapon effects, delivery systems, and defenses against nuclear attack; nontechnical, but about technology. Designed to assist students in making informed judgments about nuclear armaments and arms control; includes presentation of current issues. Same as GLBL 280.
