Image and Neuroimage Analysis

Credit:  3 or 4 hours.


Fundamental concepts, techniques/algorithms, and emerging directions of research in image and neuroimage analysis: image enhancement, image and brain image segmentation, neuroimage registration, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) time series analysis, and brain connectivity, etc. Same as BIOE 466 and STAT 466. 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: One of STAT 400, PSYC 406, an equivalent, or consent of instructor; basic programming experience in Matlab, or C/C++, or similar.
