Leisure and Culture

Credit:  4 hours.


Application of anthropological approaches and methods to the study of leisure and expressive behavior. Course topics include the evolutionary foundations for leisure and culture, adaptation, race, and class; the cross-cultural correlates of leisure and applied anthropology. Same as ANTH 575 and KIN 575. Prerequisite: RST 501 or equivalent and an introductory course in anthropology, or consent of instructor.
