Computer Use in Education

Credit:  3 or 4 hours.


Overview of the nature and development of automation in education; use of electronic data processing systems for administrative purposes, for instruction, and for research; discussion of problems of computer management, natural language analysis, and simulation CAI applications; and laboratory experience with on-line terminals, remote entry devices, and peripheral equipment. 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: EPSY 480 or equivalent, or consent of instructor.
