Numerical Approximation & ODEs

Credit:  3 or 4 hours.


Polynomial and spline interpolation; least squares and uniform approximation; numerical differentiation and integration; initial-value and boundary-value problems in ordinary differential equations. Same as CSE 413 and MATH 459. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CS 257 and MATH 285.
