ACE 476 Family Economics
Credit: 2 to 4 hours.
(ACE 370) Economic welfare of American families, application of economic theory to the behavior of families and individuals with respect to time allocation between the home and the market; family forms; human capital accumulation; gender differences in income; income inequality; and poverty. Role of public policy is considered. 3 undergraduate hours. 2 to 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: ECON 102 or ACE 100; a course in statistics; senior standing.
