AE 433 Aerospace Propulsion

(A A E 233) Fundamentals of rocket and airbreathing jet propulsion devices; prediction of thrust, combustion reactions, specific fuel consumption, and operating performance; ramjets; turbojets; turbofans; turboprops; aerothermodynamics of inlets, combustors, and nozzles; compressors, turbines; and component matching. 3 undergraduate hours. Prerequisite: AE 312, and CS 101.
