(C & I 409) Reviews the principle methodologies used in research on curriculum problems; emphasizes subject-analytical, large-scale survey, experimental, case methods, and clinical studies; emphasizes the conceptual and practical problems in such research.

Academic Outreach restrictions and assessments apply, see http://www.outreach.uiuc.edu; classes meet on Friday evenings from 5 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM on the following weekends only: Aug. 26 and 27, Sept. 9 and 10, Oct. 14 and 15, Nov. 11 and 12, and Dec. 2 and 3. The one exception is the Friday Aug 26 class will meet from 6 PM to 8:30 PM.
