Civilization of India

Credit:  3 hours.

This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for a
Hist&Philosoph Perspect, and Non-Western Cultures course.

(HIST 168) Multidisciplinary introduction to the civilizations of South Asia from the Indus Valley civilization to the present including the development of Hinduism, Buddhism and Indian Islam, state systems, arts and literature, social organization and daily life. Same as ANTH 130.
