(VARIOUS) Directed independent creative activity or research. May be repeated to a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing in Art and Design; and consent of instructor, advisor, and associate director of the School.


A contract must be completed & approved by the instructor & advisor. Note: Must be Junior. 3.3 GPA, & only 9 hours total Ind. Study. Variable Materials Charge.

Topic. Hearing the Unheard Voices. This course will focus on the needs of individuals within our community who may be on the fringe, socially or physically disadvantaged. This is a multi-disciplinary course and students from all backgrounds will have a unique opportunity to actively contribute to increasing awareness of wider social and community issues.
