Survey of how women and their social roles are portrayed in Scandinavian literature, primarily of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Readings and discussion in English. Same as CWL 475, and GWS 475. Prerequisite: One college-level literature course or one course in women's studies, or consent of instructor.
