CEE 415 Geometric Design of Roads
Credit: 4 hours.
Analysis of factors in developing a highway transportation facility; traffic estimates and assignment; problems of highway geometrics and design standards; planning and location principles; intersection design factors; street systems and terminal facilities; programming improvements; drainage design; structural design of surface; concepts of highway management and finance; and highway maintenance planning. Prerequisite: CEE 310.
