This special course is designed to provide content knowledge previously taught in CS273 and currently taught in CS173. If you are a student who took CS173 BEFORE summer 2005, and you are expecting to take CS273 in spring 2006 or later, then this supplemental course is for you. The course covers Counting, Probability, and Recurrences, and though the supplemental course is not required, CS473, the algorithms course, will assume that you have mastered the topics. This course may be taken concurrently with CS273.
